Installing THE RECEIPTS. on ChatGPT

A couple minutes, no code. This one lives as a personal Skill in your account, not a public link, so once it’s in, it’s just there whenever you need it.

Let’s get you set up.

📥 Download the skill file (.zip)
What you’re installing

A focused tool that mirrors back a negative belief you’re stuck on, then digs for real, specific proof against it, one question at a time, in Teagan Hintze’s voice. It hands you the receipts and stops there. No lectures, no big reframe speech.

1

Check your plan

Personal Skills need a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus or higher). If you’re on the Free tier, you likely won’t see the Skills option at all, that’s the first thing to check if step 3 comes up empty.

2

Grab the file

Click the download button above to grab the .zip file, then save it somewhere easy to find, like your Downloads folder. Don’t unzip it, it gets uploaded as-is.

3

Find Skills

In the ChatGPT sidebar, look for Plugins, then click over to the Skills tab.

4

Upload it

Click the + button, choose New skill, then Upload from your computer. Select the zip file from step 2.

5

Confirm it landed

It should now show up under Installed on the Skills page.

6

Test it

Start a new chat and say something like “I feel like everyone’s about to find out I’m faking it.” ChatGPT should pick up the skill on its own, no need to name it or ask for it directly.

Good to know
This is a personal Skill, not a shared org tool. If you’re on a Business/Enterprise workspace with an admin-managed Skills library instead, the setup screen will look a little different, ask your workspace admin if you don’t see the same steps above.

If something’s not working

I don’t see a “Skills” tab anywhere.
Confirm you’re on a paid plan (Plus or higher). If you are and it’s still missing, it’s possible this feature hasn’t rolled out to your account yet, since ChatGPT has been expanding access to this gradually.
The upload failed or gave an error.
Make sure you’re uploading the zip file exactly as given to you, not an unzipped folder, and that it wasn’t renamed or altered after being sent to you.
I uploaded it but nothing happens when I bring up the topic.
Check that it shows as installed and active, not just sitting in a “shared with you” state waiting for you to turn it on. If it’s active and still not triggering, try being more direct the first time, something like “help me build a proof file against this belief.”
