Installing THE RECEIPTS. on Claude

Five minutes, no code, no weird settings hunt. Once it’s in, Claude will automatically know how to run this whenever you (or whoever you send this to) needs to dig up proof against a nasty self-doubt.

What you’re installing

A focused tool that mirrors back a negative belief you’re stuck on, then digs for real, specific proof against it, one question at a time, in Teagan Hintze’s voice. It hands you the receipts and stops there. No lectures, no big reframe speech.

Grab the file

Click the download button above to grab the-receipts-skill.skill, then save it somewhere easy to find, like your Downloads folder.

Turn on Code execution

In Claude, go to Settings → Capabilities and make sure Code execution and file creation is switched on. Skills need this enabled to run at all.

Open Skills

Go to Customize → Skills, then click the + button.

Upload it

Choose Create skill → Upload a skill, then select the .skill file from step 1.

Make sure it’s toggled on

It should now show up in your Skills list. Confirm the toggle next to it is switched on.

Test it

Start a new chat and say something like “I feel like everyone’s about to find out I’m faking it.” Claude should pick up the skill automatically and start mirroring it back to you, no need to name the skill or ask for it directly.

Good to know

Claude Skills work on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. If a friend or client wants this too, they don’t need a special plan, just the same six steps above.

If something’s not working

I don’t see “Skills” under Customize.

Double check Code execution and file creation is turned on in Settings → Capabilities first. This feature has to be enabled before Skills shows up as an option.

I uploaded it but nothing happens when I bring up the topic.

Check the toggle next to the skill in your Skills list, it needs to be switched on, not just installed. If it’s on and still not triggering, try being more direct the first time, something like “help me build a proof file against this belief.”

Can I edit what it says once it’s installed?

Not directly through the upload, no. If you want changes to the voice or flow, those need to happen in the original file before it gets re-uploaded.
